The Girl's Room

Before (below) & After (left)

There are big dreams and creative requests when working with a

6-year-old 'client.'

While she didn't get striped walls or murals of butterflies and bumblebees, she is ecstatic with the result: A loft bed with desk, a new closet, and a special dresser dedicated to Barbie and all of her supplies.

Oh, and with the magenta-tinted shades, the entire space glows pink--a dream style for a girl's special place.

Talk about some tricky HVAC work. Opening up the walls gave us the opportunity to install ductwork to the attic--a space that needed some serious emperature conditioning.

Drywall, new windows, and molding makes a huge difference in this bedroom. Now it's time to take this plain room and put some 6-year-old girl style on it.

The long-awaited piece to this bedroom puzzle is coming together for our little lady client-. A new loft bed with built-in desk and shelves.

Building the stairs to the loft.

A new closet extends fills in a spot by the doorway to the hall and sits flush with the door access to the attic.

The desk and built-in shelves create a perfect spot for createive projects and the necessary task of solving those grade-school math problems.
