It took us the better part of a Sunday to install the wide-plank pine flooring.

We gave the floor an extra touch of farmhouse-style with cut nails. It takes some time and muscle, but we love the look.

Our 100-year-old house has settled, so the floors a bit wavy. It takes some carpentry prepwork to make sure the cabinets start their lifetime level.
